| As you walk around the park, you will find a chin-up bar, a vertical climb, a step-up, a sit-up bench, parallel bars and a balance beam. This is all possible through generous donations from area businesses, residents, and a mini-TAG grant from Allegan County Community Foundation. Chris LaRoche, a local Boy Scout with Troop 96 in Hopkins, has added these exercise stations for his Eagle Scout project. Chris LaRoche, you have the Townships sincerest thanks. We appreciate all your hard work, and the hard work of the volunteers who assisted you. |

Salem Township Park has a lot to offer our residents. We have playground equipment for the kids, plus a tennis court, basketball court and sand volleyball. The soccer field and baseball diamond are a multi-purpose field. We also have a picnic shelter with grills for cooking. Do not forget to walk our nature trail; it is 3/4 of a mile long and winds through the park with trees and benches for your enjoyment. No reservations are taken for the picnic shelter, or the courts, or the fields. It is on a first come first serve basis.

We wish to thank all of those who have made our park possible, especially Wolverine Power Company for their continued support.
