DROP-OFF SITE

Township Hall, 142nd Avenue and 30th Street, Burnips. Open all hours.

We accept newspapers, grocery bags, clear glass, empty aerosol cans, plastic bottles and jugs. Please rinse food containers.

We also take magazines, phone books, flattened cardboard, newspapers, office paper and junk mail. We now can take household batteries placed in zipper lock plastic bags.

Note: We can no longer recycle colored glass. Styrofoam is not collected at drop-off sites but clean foam can be taken to the monitored depot.

MONITORED DEPOT
Appliances, tires, styrofoam and household batteries can be taken to the monitored depot site: Salem Township Transfer Station, near Burnips on 29th Street, 1/4 Mile South of 142nd Avenue, on 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (closed January and February). You must present your Resource Recovery card.

USED MOTOR OIL

Don't dump it! Recycle it!

You can take your used motor oil to: (Call to check hours)

Important: Don't mix other wastes with used oil. Such mixtures can create hazards and make recycling more difficult.
